Orthopedic Physician

The 5th Edition of PRACTICAL ORTHOPEDICS is designed to teach orthopedic surgery to those physicians who are not orthopedic surgeons. The text is divided into two sections. The first deals with musculoskeletal disorders by anatomic region. Subsequent chapters discuss injuries, infection, arthritides, and other common problems of interest including the radiologic aspects of orthopedic disease. Completely updated, the 5th Edition contains new sections on osteoporosis and osteoarthritis, and candid discussions on several controversial topics involving orthopedic surgery. Thirty-one patient teaching guides for common orthopedic disorders are also included.
